I see different mash recipe breakouts (e.g. 75% corn, 13% rye, 12% barley) but cannot find the total amount for each grain. I understand that it allows them to scale up/down for different volumes. If one were making a 5 gallon mash, using the above %s, how much of each grain would one use? "Asking for a friend."

Very interesting question that you ask, I also would like to know the answer. I have read that for barley you get 400l of whisky from one tonne of barley.
