Can I store my whisky bottles horizontally like wine bottles?

    Hello,

    I’m a bigger, have started having too many whisky(e) bottles than my shelf space, but I have a wine rack that is empty. Can I put my whisky bottles in this shelf like a wine bottle?

    what damage would that do to them if any?

    @geoman While I'm no expert, I've always read that wine bottles should be stored on their sides, and whisky bottles standing up.
