Benromach has changed it's flavour profile. Need help finding a sub for old Ben 10

I've been buying Benromach 10 for several years and recently purchased one of the new bottlings (the one that looks like it belongs in a soviet dive bar). I've given it a month to find it's feet after opening but despite what Benromach say, the flavour has changed. The previous wonderful bitter and sour components are being slowly murdered by saccharine in this one.
Can anyone please recommend anything that tastes like the bottlings of Benromach 10 from 2015-2019?
