An old friend gifted me this very old bottle of White Horse. Any thoughts on year, age, value etc.?

Firstly I am not an expert in any shape of form.
I think the bottle looks as though it's from the 40s/50s.
It is only rare as most of them were drank. It is a blended whisky which was very popular back in the day.
It would probably have had a label on it as well.
Im only guessing but I would think you could sell it for a couple of hundred pounds. Not a fortune.
